It can get crazy! There are hundreds of things to attend to, most of which you’ve never really had to think about so you can get quite stressed. Your mother wants this, his mother wants that, and everybody who’s ever been married (and quite a few who haven’t) have an opinion on how your wedding and reception should be conducted.

Deep breath, take a step back and relax. It’s normal to get frazzled by having to deal with so many details. You may actually be considering eloping, just to avoid all the hassle.

It’s true that you could do that. It can actually be both fun and very memorable to run off to a hidden paradise and be married under the stars in a place where you don’t know anyone.

On the other hand, think of all the fun you’ll miss. Think of the joy of having your loved ones all together in a reunion of sorts. Imagine it as a party where your loved ones on both sides get to meet and mingle and become one family. You won’t get that chance if you elope.

Spread your happiness. Be a beacon of joy and hope to everyone around you. Let your loved ones share in the wish for happy ever after.

Big wedding, small wedding - the size isn’t what’s important. You can have your wedding with only your immediate family and it would be great. Your family and friends know that what matters is that you finally make your decision to be together a solemn vow by saying, “I do”.

There are many people finding love in the workplace, especially when they work in a team or do some long term projects. However, love at work is not always smooth and has certain disadvantages.

Of course no company prohibits love at work. However, it doesn’t mean they recommend love affairs among their employees. Love is a private issue and most employers don’t want their people to think of anything else besides work during office hours. Therefore, if fall in love with a colleague, you have to think twice about whether you two want to make your relationship public or not.

When you are in love, you always want to be close to your lover. However, this should be avoided in the workplace. In a company there are usually people of all ages and their views about love and relationships are very different. You must resist your feelings and be careful of offending others. You shouldn’t use work time to send emails or messages to each other, even though it may not affect your productivity, it can create a bad impression if you are caught engaging in private correspondence by other colleagues or worse, your employer.

Your love can be very romantic, beautiful and admirable. However, your boss and colleagues are not witnesses for your love. Therefore, never make a love show at work even it is at lunch time if you don’t want your love to be the topic of gossips in the community.

Your relationship can take a turn for the worse in the long run if you two are together all the time at work. You may be together during office hours, at lunch time and of course after work. It can be wonderful at first but after a while, you will become bored and fed up with it.

Working in the same area in the same company, you two are natural competitors. Think of the time when you have to compete against your lover for a promotion. This can badly affect your loving relationship.

When you are in love, you can hardly think of breaking up. However, there is no guarantee that your love will last forever. If it happens, can you still face him or her everyday in a natural way? Or would you have to try to find work in some other company? That would be a difficult situation.

Love at work is not easy. There are many problems you will encounter and many obstacles you have to overcome. Thus think twice before building a relationship at work. Love and a career don’t support each other sometimes.
