What would your life be like if you lived each
event backwards? If you knew what was coming in
your life next how would you react?

John Eldredge writes in his book Waking the Dead,
“God what do you have for my heart today?” He
continues by saying, “you may be stunned by what
he guides you into. I began the day at six in the
morning asking God, “What do you have for my heart
today Lord.” I had a few minutes to spare this
morning (very unusual) so I had a cup of coffee at
Starbucks. During that time a brain storm came to
me and I wrote feverously for thirty minutes,
jumped in the car and decided to take a tour of
the new Wal-Mart food store in St. Matthews as I
headed back to work. When I arrived at the store
it was not raining, as I began to leave it was
pouring. I didn’t buy anything so I went out the
entrance way. At the same time I realized it was
raining an elderly woman coming into the store
asked me to help with fix her umbrella, it was
stuck open. I’m thinking, not now lady my top’s
down in my car and there are fish swimming in it,
but calmly with a smile I help her. Then she wants
me to fold it for her, you’ve got to be kidding
me. She proceeds to thank me (as I swiftly move
away) and she says, “by the way there is a
convertible in the parking lot with the top down.

As I ran out I yell that’s mine thank you: Now,
how many seventy year old woman notice or even
care about a comfortable sports car in the midst
of fifty cars in a lot? I get in, sit in a puddle
of water, close the top and start to drive off. As
I do so, I look over and see a plastic hair
protector (I don’t know what the real name of them
are. Elderly people wear them to cover there hair
up from rain) covering my books and what I wrote
at the coffee shop. It was then I realized what
God had just allowed to happen. The same women I
just helped had taken off her head wear and put it
over my books protecting them from the rain. “What
do you want from my heart today Lord, was just
answered.” I didn’t know this lady, nor did she
know me or my car, that wasn’t the massage. The
massage was, we reap what we sow. What ever you
want for your heart you must sow. Isn’t that just
like God to answer our prayers by teaching us
something. He didn’t directly answer it he put it
back on me with a life experience.

What ever your heart needs or desires give it
away. Give it away until your heart becomes a
reservoir of life. Is your heart a canal or is it
a reservoir? Is it over flowing or just passing
by? Today giving something precious of yours away
this week. Maybe it’s time, maybe its, money,
maybe it’s processions. “What do you want for my
heart Lord?” It may be then we realize there are
Angels among us all the time.

“I’m Capricorn, you’re Leo, my mother is Taurus and the neighbor is Aquarius.”

Does this sound familiar? I believe so.
Nowadays, most of us know our zodiacal sign and the interest we have for this subject is continuously growing. But how many of us actually know what a horoscope and a chart are?

The answer: few! This is why so many questions and interpretations get born, a thing that ultimately leads to the defamation of astrology. You don’t need to be an astrologer to know some things about astrology, some elements that will help you.

This article was made for the specific purpose of explaining briefly and without details, what a horoscope is and what are the main components of a chart.

First of all, what does it mean that I’m Capricorn and you’re Leo? The basic zodiacal sign we keep talking about is given by the Sun’s position at birth. Therefore, I’m Capricorn because the Sun was in Capricorn when I was given birth. You can identify this when you make a chart. The chart represents the astral map of an entity (individual, community etc.) at a certain time. It contains a lot of elements that help at making a horoscope or an astrologic analysis.

For making a horoscope or an astrologic analysis you need three elements:

- The zodiacal sign

- The planets

- The astrological houses

At all this you can add a lot of other elements that bring more information.

The planets

There are 10 planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) and they represent a certain characteristic of an individual, a certain type of energy.

For example, the Sun represents our basic personality, our ego, the conscious, while the Moon represents our subconscious and emotions. So when I say I’m Capricorn, I actually say that my basic personality has all of Capricorn’s characteristics. But the fact that I have the Moon in Pisces, for example, makes my emotions similar to the zodiacal sign of Pisces.
The same way, Mercury represents the mentality, the way we think and communicate; Venus represents the feeling and the things we like, while Mars represents our basic energy.

The planets form between themselves many angles and relations. These relations can be: harmonically (those of 60,120,0 degrees) and un-harmonically (45,90,180 degrees).

The zodiacal signs

There are 12 zodiacal signs (Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces) and I’m sure you know them very well. They represent certain characteristics that have a strong influence on the planets. A Moon in Aries will be totally different then a Moon in Libra.

The astrological houses

The 12 astrological houses symbolize the activity sectors in every person’s life. These are being calculated according to the hour and the place of birth. These can have different sizes (in degrees).
For example, the 7th house symbolizes the partner, marriage, contractual relationships etc. The 10th is the house of carrier and social elevation.

About the houses, there is an aspect that was a mandatory role: the first grade of a house is called cusps (or cuspis). There are 4 big cusps: the Ascendant (1st house), the Middle of the sky (10th house), the Descendant (7th house) and the Bottom of the sky (4th house).
The one most known is the Ascendant, which according to the zodiacal sign it’s in, it symbolizes the qualities one must gain during this lifetime.

To make an astrological analyze, one must count all this factors plus a lot of others a thing that depends on each astrologer in part.

The idea of this article was to show you that each individual is unique in its own way and not all from the same zodiacal sign are the same. Also the prediction on TV or on the newspapers even thought they might be correct, don’t apply to all during that period of time.

The Four Men met for years after It happened. They were so young back then. They were foolish and assumed that they knew it all, that what they did back then was right. They even secretly cut the cloth in four pieces. Never did they dream that the drama they took part in would affect the world for all time.

They kept in touch through the years, as difficult as that was. Their profession had been such that they had forever a common bond of being a bit cynical, perhaps even cruel, although at the time they didn’t consider it as such. After all, this was how the world treated the criminal element. But when It happened, these four comrades were so affected that they pledged to meet each year at a certain place. They didn’t understand why this urge to meet and talk about It (they had discussed this strange aspect with each other), but they kept their pledge faithfully each year, even though the trip became more draining both physically and financially as the years slipped by.

Through the years each got married and raised a family who in turn started raising their families. At the yearly get-together they would discuss the mundane issues of kids, bills, and wives. But always, always the conversation turned to It. The whole thing still seemed so strange, and yet so grand. What a puzzle! Finally, as they did each year, they would remove their pieces of cloth from their packets and lay them on the table to see if they still fit. And then they would tell their stories.

Maurice spoke first. “My grandson was so sick a few months ago. It was right after a party we had for his third birthday, so we thought maybe he ate some bad food. It was my wife who suggested I put the cloth on him. Well, I thought, who can figure women out! But it was so strange — he got better right away. You can’t imagine how happy I was! But I started thinking about that man again and whether we did the right thing.”

Abiathar spoke next. “Well, I’m not sure mine was as dramatic as that, but it meant just about as much to us. My wife got the strangest feeling one day about her mother. I happen to like my mother-in-law a lot, so we both walked over to her house and there she was; she had slipped on something and was on the floor. I carry my cloth with me everywhere — yes, I’m superstitious! — so I immediately put it on her leg which we thought was broken. She got up right away and was fine! One thing about it, she doesn’t tease me about the cloth anymore. She has even asked me about the Man.”

Helios broke in excitedly with his remarkable incident. “I can’t wait to tell you what happened this year! Julius — our 15-year-old grandson — decided he wanted to try out for the decathalon. Well, I have never seen a young man so inspired to make his family proud of him. He was obsessed with it. His best friend entered the decathalon too, but Julius was so sure of himself and he didn’t say much about his friend. As it turned out, Julius’ friend won the decathalon and poor Julius … he was so depressed and discouraged! He thinks I’m crazy when I take out this bit of cloth, but one day I decided why not? I placed it on Julius’ arm and it was like his heart was healed. My dear friends, I was amazed! Now he is one of Paul’s disciples.” Helios could speak no more.

Claudius, the gentlest of the four men, then spoke. “I’ve always been reluctant to share my feelings, as you all know, but this year something happened that was so overwhelming. My dear brother who wouldn’t hurt a living thing was charged with harming a man who had accused him of fraud and slander. If anything, this man was the slanderer. We were stunned. As it turned out, my brother was finally acquitted, but he was so full of bitterness. The accusations seemed to turn his heart to stone. Then one day I showed him the cloth. Well, he thought I was deranged. I told him what the Man said as He was dying: `Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.’ We were all there, remember? We all heard it. I think that was the moment I realized that we had helped murder the most innocent Man on earth. So I took the cloth and placed it in my brother’s hand, and — what a miracle — he said, `Yes, I now understand.’ He then told me that he had wondered for years what had happened to me back when It happened. I had changed so, he said, and he almost envied me the peace I had. He told me that he would go see the man who had made a rubble of his life. Instead of throwing stones he would rebuild with them!”

The Four Men picked up their pieces of cloth from the table and made plans for the next year.
